At the July 19 Planning & Zoning commission meeting, several neighbors turned out to opine on a proposal to relocate dumpsters for Fleishers and Fjord Fisheries to a location more visible from Sinawoy, in the process allowing the back entrances to the stores to become the main entrances. The third Thursday “Butchers, Burgers and Beers” event drew an enthusiastic crowd to Fleishers in Cos Cob where people sampled burgers and sausages, watched a butchery demo and sipped beer. A nice surprise were samples of dessert coffees from Raus Coffee Company and pies from Whistle Stop Bakery.
At Fleishers, the kitchen menu has been tweaked and will reopen on Monday, June 20. We look forward to trying the beef fat fries! Continue Reading →
