Opening Day at Greenwich Polo Club Set for June 9

Opening Day at Greenwich Polo Club means that summer has finally arrived. On Sunday, June 9 the first public match of the 2019 season will take place between The Island House (Peter Holowesko A, Toro Ruiz Jorba 7, Santino Magrini 4, Peke Gonzalez 5) and Hawk Hill (Philip MacTaggart A, Segundo Merlos 3, Dylan Rossiter 5 and Gringo Colombres 7) at 3:00pm. Tod Laudonia Outlines Vision for Greenwich First Selectman Run

A third Republican candidate for Greenwich First Selectman has emerged. Tod Laudonia is a longtime Greenwich resident and has been a licensed real estate broker since 1980. He served as the Town’s Tax Collector from 2009 to 2017. Mr. Laudonia, who has been interviewed by the RTC search committee, joins Republicans Mike Mason (BET member and former chair) and State Rep Fred Camillo (District 151) as hopefuls for the job. Local Residents & Parents Help “Raise Dough” for Swim Across America Fairfield County

Nick Hyden now swims at the annual Swim Across America Fairfield County open water swim on Team Julian in honor of his friend and teammate. And his parents, Robert and Louise, do what they can to help support breakthrough cancer gene therapy research through Swim Across America and its local beneficiary the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT) by raising more money through fundraisers at their COBS Bread bakery on High Ridge Road in Stamford.
