Reunion of 1976 Catholic Middle School “Chargers” Basketball Champs: Everybody Had a Role

On Friday a group of former 7th and 8th grader basketball players from what was the Catholic Middle School League reminisced about their win in the New England State Championship in 1976. The reunion was moving, with some former players traveling as far as from Minnesota, Maryland and Florida. The 9th Annual Connecticut High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) Team of the Year Competition took place at Newtown High School on March 14, 2026. Greenwich P&Z Approves MI for Hamill Rink Flip 2.0 Despite Concerns about Site Disturbance
