Carl Higbie to Co-Host Panel Discussion at Greenwich Town Hall, Expects Fireworks

A year ago, Greenwich native and former Navy Seal Carl Higbie, was riding high. The married father of two who served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, was a regular on Fox and CNN. Then was given a job in the Trump administration. But it all came crashing down when remarks he made in 2013 as a radio host on Sound of Freedom surfaced. Swim Across America Raised $385,000 in 2018 for Cancer Research

Swim Across America Fairfield County raised $385,000 in 2018 for its beneficiary, the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT). The funds were raised during the group’s open water swim and other fundraising activities throughout the year in 2018. The funds raised support cancer gene therapy research funded by ACGT. In the past 12 years, Swim Across America Fairfield County events have raised more than $3.8 million for crucial support of the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT).
