Brave Enough for the St. Baldrick’s Shave? Sign up Today!

Western Middle School’s event “Greenwich Braves the Shave” will take place on Thursday, March 14 starting at 6:00pm to benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The event includes entertainment from J & the B-Sides. Greenwich is Invited to Create Kindness Rocks and Participate in a Sock Benefit for Steven Sudell

While staying at Yale New Haven Hospital, Steven and his family liked to go to their healing garden as often as possible. There they saw the Smilow Rocks from The Kindness Rocks Project, with inspiring phrases painted on them to encourage patients.

Since getting home Steven and his family have started painting their own rocks and visiting Cos Cob Park, which Steven calls his big healing garden. Others have also joined in bringing painted rocks and planting them in Cos Cob Park. Continue Reading →

There are three dates that WMS students will present their “Capstone Projects. ” All are open to the public. Western Middle School Debate Team Are Winners at CT Middle School Debate League Tourney

The Western Debate Team went up against 81 other teams consisting of 224 debaters from 23 different schools. The topic debated was “This House believes that Artificial Intelligence will do more good than harm.” Western won six of the debates in the three rounds of competition and the loses were extremely close, with one round lost by just 1/2 a point.
