Hartford county: 11
Litchfield County: 5
Middlesex County: 1
New Haven County: 10
That said, officials estimated the total might be closer to 7,000. Also on Wednesday, Governor Ned Lamont announced that COVID-19 has claimed its first life in Connecticut. A man in his 80s who had been admitted recently to Danbury Hospital has died of severe complications from COVID-19. The man had been a resident of an assisted living facility in Ridgefield.
