The latest COVID-19 testing data in Connecticut, updated 4:30pm on Wednesday lists patients who tested positive including presumptive positives at 96.

Hartford county: 11
Litchfield County: 5
Middlesex County: 1
New Haven County: 10
That said, officials estimated the total might be closer to 7,000.
Also on Wednesday, Governor Ned Lamont announced that COVID-19 has claimed its first life in Connecticut.
A man in his 80s who had been admitted recently to Danbury Hospital has died of severe complications from COVID-19.
The man had been a resident of an assisted living facility in Ridgefield.
“It is with sadness today that we are confirming the first death of a person in Connecticut due to severe complications from COVID-19,” Lamont said.
“We know that people of an advanced age and in certain conditions are among the most at risk of this disease,” he added. “However I urge everyone in Connecticut – regardless of age or condition – to take an active role in doing their part to reduce the spread of this virus throughout our communities so we can protect one another.”
