Greenwich Interim School Superintendent on Viral Crazy Clown Prank: No Credible Threats Received in Greenwich

Interim Superintendent Dr. Sal Corda sent a letter to parents stating that while Greenwich Police are aware of no credible “crazy clown” threats, children are aware of the viral prank. Ham Ave School Parking Lot Not Quite Ready for Wednesday Meet-and-Greet

The upper parking deck will be closed at Hamilton Ave School for the first day of school meet-and-greet. The principal asked families to walk or carpool. Arrangements have been made Hamilton Avenue School staff to park at another location, to create additional parking spaces in the lower garage. Lt. Standardized Tests Results are In: More Greenwich Students in Grades 3-8 Meet or Exceed Expectations

The Connecticut Department of Education today released the results of the 2016 Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The percent of Greenwich Public Schools students that meet or exceed expectations in English Language Arts in grades 3-8 increased from 72.7% in 2015 to 76% in 2016. The percent of students that meet or exceed expectations in Mathematics in grades 3-8 increased from 63.7% in 2015 to 66.3% in 2016. Continue Reading →
