At “Raising Voices” Youth Political Fair, Students Propose Solutions to Local Problems

One presentation addressed the long-overdue state of Greenwich High School’s bathrooms, which haven’t been updated since 1998. One addressed methods for eliminating spotted lanternflies, and one tackled the issue of school lunch reform, criticizing the focus on cost efficiency over nutrition. “Eagle/Peebles” Proposes 70-Room Boutique “Havemeyer Hotel,” Restaurant & Event Space, Plus Optional Office/Garage Building

BOE Approves $2 Million Cuts to FY 26 Schools Budget, Including Job Reductions

The board did not vote on cuts to Transportation (bus routes) that would change school Start Time or changing the GHS House structure to eliminate 5 full time employees, citing the fact that 2 BOE members – Cody Kittle and Wendy Vizzo Walsh – were absent.
