Stamford Downtown presents 2026 Summer Restaurant Weeks,
Twenty-nine Stamford Downtown venues plan to participate in the 2-week event that runs Monday, August 24 through Monday, September 7.
Offerings include lunch and dinner menus and take-out offerings at value-oriented prices. Gather friends, family, and office mates to enjoy an old favorite or venture out to try a new place.
This year’s Summer Restaurant Weeks features prix fixe menus and special promotions ranging in price from $15-$20 for lunch and $30-$55 for dinner.
Summer Restaurant Weeks special pricing is not valid with any third-party ordering systems (including GrubHub, DoorDash or UberEats).

The installation will be on display in Columbus Park in Stamford Downtown from August 1 through September 7, inviting visitors of all ages to gather, swing, relax, and reconnect through playful design.

Created by acclaimed Mexican designers Esrawe + Cadena, Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 transforms public space into an engaging environment where art, design, and human connection intersect. The visually striking installation features illuminated red house-shaped frames, each containing a swing that encourages visitors to pause, interact, and experience the space in a new way.
When unoccupied, the structures emit a soft glow welcoming the next visitor. As soon as someone steps inside, the light intensifies — signaling that someone is home and creating a shared moment of connection in the public realm.

Previously exhibited at Lincoln Center in New York City, Houston, Las Vegas, and Iowa City, the installation has engaged communities across North America through its welcoming and playful approach to public art.
