Eight PTA volunteers were nominated for the PTA Council of Greenwich’s Annual Essence award. All are winners as far as we’re concerned. One of the nominees was actually a duo of dads at Old Greenwich School. In the end July Faryniarz, won the overall award. She has worked tirelessly in her children’s schools, in addition to all the work she does for the Alliance and the AVID program at GHS. Congratulations to everyone. Congratulations to the 2015 Greenwich Eagle Scout Class: Robert Anderson, Eugene Constandaki, Peter Forsberg, Matthew Fox, William Freder, Benjamin Langley, John Martin, Conor Patterson, Nicholas Sages and Sivan Sud. A celebration for the newly minted Eagle Scouts was held at the Hyatt on Wednesday. Local Eagle Scouts of all ages attended the “Gathering of Eagles,” reuniting to celebrate the accomplishments of the newest Greenwich Eagle Scouts.
