Parents Urge BOE to Offer Healthier, More Appealing School Meals

A dozen parents testified that school lunches are unhealthy. There were assertions the menu is unreliable and amount to false advertising. The plea for healthier lunches is perennial, but now there is survey data and comments from parents. There are 20% of kids on free/reduced lunch, but there are also families willing to pay more for healthy food. Kids at GHS order food deliveries to the curb. Greenwich Schools Convocation Kicks off with Standing Ovation for Ralph Mayo

There was much energy in the air at convocation which was held in the GHS performing arts center on Monday morning.
