Western Middle School students are selling t-shirts to raise the money needed to complete their rock garden.
The vibrant colored rock garden is missing one thing: a dedication plaque to be placed in honor of Steven Sudell a cancer warrior who was well known for his warm and comforting personality, positive attitude and his ability to inspire those around him.
Steven, who graduated from Western Middle School, painted a kindness rock while staying at Yale New Haven Hospital. He and his family liked to go to their healing garden as often as possible. There they saw the Smilow Rocks from The Kindness Rocks Project, with inspiring phrases painted on them to encourage patients.
WMS students are looking for the community’s help to complete their rock garden.
Steven’s message sheds wisdom on a courageous life well led.
Please help the students reach their goal in completing their rock garden.
Gray warrior t-shirts are $15. Rock Garden t-shirts are $10.
