A new pre-application has arrived at Greenwich Planning & Zoning that includes a three story addition at the back of the office building at 10 Mason Street. The property is one of two that sold from BNY Mellon National Association in 2025. The building was first constructed in 1954 with two stories. In 1962 it was increased to four stories, with land added for parking for a total of 60 spaces including two ADA spaces.
The Greenwich Scholarship Association will be the beneficiary of the Woman’s Club of Greenwich’s Concert on the Lawn on Friday, June 5 — an evening dedicated to helping local students achieve a college education through need-based scholarships.
BOE member Veronica Chiavaroli said other Greenwich elementary schools already house district programs besides their K-5 responsibilities. Riverside does not. Pre-K for children age 3, 4 and 5 is required by federal law to be provided for free for special education students who are in class with peer students who pay tuition. The number of students identified for Pre-K has tripled since 2012.
“Art in the Park” event, which is set for Sunday, June 7 in Binney Park in Old Greenwich from 10:00 am to 5:00pm. This is a free, family-friendly event that transforms the park into an open-air art gallery.

The John Street Bridge Project has been helping the homeless in Bridgeport for many many years. The folks at Helping Hands Outreached in Bridgeport asked Kaliko if Needs Clearing House could help with food – namely pizza. Neighbors from the Deer Park Association testified at Tuesday’s P&Z hearing on the re-development of 15 Deer Park Meadow Rd. They expressed outrage that the applicant, Thomas Priore, clear cut “magnificent” mature trees and proposed to re-route of the existing sewer will jeopardize mature trees.
