According to an accident summary from State Police Troop G out of Bridgeport, Seymour was stopped at the stop sign in her 2015 Range Rover at the end of the I95 south bound off ramp at exit 5 in Old Greenwich when she backed up and hit the car behind her. The car behind her, a 2008 Mercedes C300 4 M was driven by Deija Sanders, 30, of 72 Stanley St in New Haven and her male passenger Durrell McNeal, 27, of 270 Munson Street in New Haven, who were both wearing seat belts.
According to the report there were no injuries and no airbags were deployed.
Seymour refused to perform any field sobriety tests and, according to Troop G’s accident summary, her eyes were blood shot, she was unsteady on her feet and her breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage. She was placed under arrest and transported to Troop G for processing.
