For a fun twist, Leonard Fox will display works from his collection of Gerda Wegener Art. Gerda and her husband, Einar Wegener, were the subjects of the Oscar-Nominated film, The Danish Girl, which the Avon screened for several weeks. Stanwich School Celebrates Heroes, Real and Imaginary, with a “Hero Convention”

On Friday morning Stanwich School’s third graders participated in the “Hero Convention,” a celebration of the real life heroes who have quite a bit in common with comic book super heroes like Captain America, Ant-Man, Iron Man, Batgirl and Spiderman.
