A group of teens in a club called “Open Eyes” administered a questionnaire to students about Sexually Transmitted Diseases – STDs. Using an app called Kahoot, they created a 10-question pop quiz that students took on their iPhones. Students crowded around the Open Eyes table at Wednesday’s health fair organized by Kathy Steiner. Winklevoss Row America Dream on Hold for Now Following Lengthy P&Z Discussion

A variety of issues came up when Howard Winkelvoss presented his application for Row America at the site of the former Fjord Fisheries on River Road in Cos Cob. Adequacy of parking was discussed, along with possibly changing orientation of the building so it doesn’t block water views to the public. There was also discussion of coordination between Row America, Greenwich Water Club and Brunswick’s Rowing facility with regard to use of the channel, which is very shallow at low tide and has multiple demands including sailboats, power boats and rowers. Keeping up with Zaniac: Growing, Expanding and Bringing Girls along for the Ride

Friday afternoons are always busy at Zaniac Greenwich because the class schedule accommodates students from private schools in town that have half days. Last Friday was a bit different as the campus was already buzzing by 10:00am. Camilla Gazal and Flavia Naslausky, owners of Zaniac Greenwich and several other thriving campuses in Connecticut and New York, explained that Stanwich School students were enjoying a pizza party and time with instructors while their school held its parent-teacher conferences. Greenwich Police Assist DEA Investigation Leading to Guilty Plea of Wesleyan Football Player for Distributing Synthetic Hallucinogenic Drug

According to court documents and statements made in court, on October 31, 2015, the Wesleyan University Department of Public Safety responded to an emergency call from a campus dorm room and found a male student in severe medical distress. The victim was convulsing and struggling to breathe, and his body temperature was significantly elevated.
