Safe Rides has struggled to find footing after being dropped two years ago by the Red cross who decided to double down on their focus on disaster relief. Subsequently Safe Rides was kept afloat by the Junior League and Transportation Association of Greenwich, before inadvertently being omitted from the town Budget.
