The ninth annual Howl & Prowl event took place in the lot beside Havemeyer building on Greenwich Avenue. Three lucky dogs made it out of municipal shelters and into the arms of volunteers with “Pit Stop,” a newly formed group run by long time rescuers in Greenwich and Stamford. Update: Eversource issued the following statement May 13, 2:30pm. While we’re disappointed with the Council’s decision, we’re encouraged that its members understand the urgent electric reliability needs of Greenwich. The decision provides us an opportunity to come up with a modified solution to address the capacity and reliability challenges in Greenwich. Check out sweet boy “Buddy,” a 5-year-old Hound-Corgi mix who is calm as can be, if not a tad shy. He won over the hearts of a dozen Eastern Middle School 8th graders at Pet Pantry recently.
