Update: Eversource issued the following statement May 13, 2:30pm. While we’re disappointed with the Council’s decision, we’re encouraged that its members understand the urgent electric reliability needs of Greenwich. The decision provides us an opportunity to come up with a modified solution to address the capacity and reliability challenges in Greenwich. We’ll look for additional savings as we redesign our proposal. The importance of this project can’t be overstated when it comes to delivering reliable power to our customers in Greenwich.
