Greenwich Assessor and BET Chair Explain Ins and Outs of Town Reval at LWV Forum

BET chair David Weisbrod said Districts 1, 2 and 8 increased at faster rates, with District 1 increasing  37.7%, District 2 increasing 30.6% and District 8 increasing 30.7%. The town’s Assessor, Lauren Elliott said there were a bout 950 appeals to the Board of Assessment Appeals (whose members are elected) out of the town’s 20,000 parcels.

For more than 110 years, the YMCA of Greenwich has served as a cornerstone of the Greenwich community—responding to evolving needs and ensuring that children, families, and working caregivers have the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive. This summer, the YMCA is expanding its summer camp offerings through a new collaboration with Scouting America Greenwich, allowing YMCA programs to operate at the historic Camp Seton beginning summer 2026.
