All up and down Greenwich Avenue jumbo purple ribbons arranged by the Alzheimer’s Association “Celebrating Hope” committee increase awareness of the disease and signal that the third annual fundraiser for The Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter is approaching. Sweet Pea’s Baking Company in OG Village Wants to Serve Liquor

An application to amend the zoning regulations to strike the 1,000 ft separation between restaurants serving liquor in the LBR zone was left open because it was not noticed properly in Greenwich Time. However, it was notable that unlike the Kings Market application seeking to strike the 1,000 ft separation for liquor stores, which drew an outcry from independent package store owners, no restaurant owners spoke out in favor or opposed to Sweat Pea’s application.
