Iron Works Applicant Seeks Fee Reduction from Wetlands for 5-Story, 355-Apartment Building

An attorney for applicants seeking to develop the site of Post Road Iron Works appeared before the Wetlands Agency Monday night seeking a decrease in the application fee. He characterized the application as “benign and low impact upon the wetlands.” On their part, the agency members characterized the application as “high profile” and entailing hours of their time, including time spent answering public inquiries, holding public hearings and entertaining expert testimony.
