A new pre-application has arrived at Greenwich Planning & Zoning that includes a three story addition at the back of the office building at 10 Mason Street. The property is one of two that sold from BNY Mellon National Association in 2025. The building was first constructed in 1954 with two stories. In 1962 it was increased to four stories, with land added for parking for a total of 60 spaces including two ADA spaces.

The night of Dec. 30, 2014 was grim for Frank Carpentieri, owner of Garden Catering in Chickahominy. The blaze was originally suspected to be an electrical fire, but Carpentieri said his insurance company’s investigator suspected the fire might have stemmed back to crumbs in the fryer. After months of disagreement between the Board of Selectmen and the New Lebanon Building Committee over whether to build a new school on the existing footprint or to dip into the ravine between the school and I-95, the Selectmen relented and voted unanimously to approve Option 3, which does dip into the wooded ravine. The new school would provide an ample bus loop, significant increases in parking and room for cars to queue on the campus plateau, and utilize fill in the ravine to elevate the portion of the building that dips into the wooded area. On Thursday, the Board of Selectmen discussed the standoff between Greenwich harbor master Ian MacMillan and the Town. Because he has failed to share his list of boat owners, permits and corresponding moorings with the Town, there is a disincentive for boat owners to apply and pay for mooring permits.
