An action item at the end of Thursday’s school board meeting on extending the Superintendent’s contract ended in a tie vote, which meant the motion to extend failed. The vote came at the end of a long meeting, on the heels of the board’s 5-3 vote in favor of a bell to bell cell phone ban at the Greenwich High School.

During Tuesday night’s power outage, Police responded to over 140 calls. As of Wednesday morning, police say only three Eversourse customers remain without power. According to chair of the building committee Steve Walko, the project remains on-time and on-budget. The temporary certificate of occupancy date remains December 24, 2018, with a projected move-in date of February 19, 2019, which is the first day after winter break.
