The Town of Greenwich will hold a food drive on Thursday, Sept 13 from 8:30am til 3:30pm in the town hall meeting room (located on the first floor).
The focus will be on Greenwich children in need and benefit Neighbor-to-Neighbor’s food pantry and the Dept of Human Services.
Most needed items include: cereal, Parmalat Whole Milk, canned tuna, nutrition bars, canned fruit,peanut butter, canned corn, milk boxes (unrefrigerated), healthy snacks, jelly and juice boxes.
Other items sought include animal crackers, canned soup, canned vegetables, paper towels, toilet paper, crackers/cheese, pasta/tomato sauce, toothpaste, baby food, soap and shampoo.
The event is sponsored by the Greenwich service unit of The Salvation Army.
