The Westchester County Department of Health learned an employee with the illness worked at bartaco restaurant while infectious. They recommend individuals who ate or drank at bartaco between October 12 and October 23 receive preventive treatment against Hepatitis A, a viral illness that affects the liver. Preventive treatment is only effective if given within two weeks of exposure. The restaurant will reopen after it has been re-inspected and approved by the Westchester County Dept of Health.
