The Junior United Way kids recently met with the Greenwich High School Outreach Club to plan the next “Stress, Success and Teenage Setbacks” community wide event set for Tuesday, April 4, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Arch Street Teen Center.
The free event for all Greenwich teens and parent will focus on athletes, injury and recovery.
“The Greenwich High School Outreach Club, CODA Club, and Jr United Way have worked together over the past year to organize two Stress, Success and Teenage Setback events.”
“Collaborating makes us stronger when we come together to work towards a common cause,” said Greenwich High School health teacher, Kathy Steiner.
The first Stress, Success and Teenage Setback events featured Scott “Scooter” Braun. Then, in November the clubs partnered to plan an event featuring MTV’s Giovanni Rivera.
Greenwich Jr United Way meetings are open to all Greenwich teens in middle school and high school.
Teens interested in joining Greenwich Junior United Way should email Greenwich United Way ([email protected]) or call (203) 869-2221.
