Throughout the day, officers showcased specialized units including the SWAT team, dive team, and the department drone program. Police vehicles and equipment were displayed outside headquarters as children and families had the opportunity to speak directly with officers about their roles and training.
Forty-five members partnered with local nonprofits across Greenwich in a day of hands-on service supporting children, families, and community organizations.

On Friday a caller to the First Selectman’s radio show complained about groups of bicyclists on Riversville Road who travel up to five abreast. “They just do not move out of the way.
