Showdown at the P&Z Corral: Division Street Applicant Rejected

An application for an addition to a Division Street house in the multi-family zone near Greenwich Hospital was rejected after hours of discussion Tuesday night. The dialogue between the applicant and the commissioners grew acrimonious at times as Ms. Quamar interrupted commissioners and the director of the P&Z department repeatedly. Though the applicant, Ms. Quamar, whose sister stood with her at the podium and held up an iPad to video record the commissioners, may not have exceeded FAR on the project, her drawings were inconsistent and, for example, had staircases missing.
