Attorney General Tong: Medication abortion remains legal and accessible in Connecticut

On Wednesday, in an appeal of a separate Texas lawsuit, a panel of judges in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order imposing restrictions on access to mifepristone. Thursday’s order from Judge Thomas Rice clarifies that those restrictions do not apply to the 18 states that filed a lawsuit in the Eastern District of Washington, protecting mifepristone in those states – including Connecticut. With Blessing from Selectmen, OGS Building Committee to Proceed to P&Z with Pre-Application in May: “Every Week Counts”

The Board of Selectmen voted on “A request for Municipal Improvement status for the Old Greenwich School project” at their meeting on Thursday morning. The discussion was a second read of the request. The first read was on March 22 meeting, prior to BET decision day on the fiscal 2024 budget, where Democratic members urged the full board’s approval of $34.9 million for a total renovation of the school.
