Bring your pet to Greenwich Animal Control on Sat. June 13 from 10:00am til 12:00 noon for the low-cost rabies clinic. Animal Control is located at 393 North Street adjacent to North Street School. Newly appointed executive director Kristen Rice at Adopt A Dog said the shelter is on a roll. Eight dogs have been adopted in the past eight days. She credits a new online adoption form, an “UnderDog program” that waives adoption fees for dogs that have resided at the shelter for a long time, and cross-training of staff, so more people are involved in the adoption process.
