Greenwich and OG Lions Collaborate for Sophisticated Eye Screening at BANC

On any given school day, the Byram Archibald Neighborhood Center (BANC), is a hive of activity. The New Lebanon School kindergarten classes are currently housed there. Then, after school Christina Nappi runs a program for about 65 New Leb children in K-3 until 5:30pm. On Thursday, members of the Old Greenwich and Greenwich Lions Clubs gave free vision screenings to the children. More than a simple acuity test, the Lions Clubs sophisticated camera tested for eye disorders including far and near sightedness, astigmatism, anisometropia, strabismus and anisocoria.
