Adopt A Dog, based in Armonk, NY, had a great turnout for their reunion of adopted dogs on Saturday on the lawn of Second Congregational Church in Greenwich. As the skies cleared, an adoptees reconnected with shelter staff and volunteers, families shared their heartfelt adoption stories. Director Courtney Bellew said that in the 3+ years she had been the director at Adopt A Dog, adoptions had increased five-fold, and this year they anticipated another increase. Continue Reading →
Neighbor to Neighbor’s recent Spring Luncheon allowed attendees to stand together and fight hunger in the area. The Greenwich nonprofit currently serves over 575 households weekly with food and household essentials. The April 3 luncheon served as a call to action for like minded individuals to advocate for their neighbors in need. The event featured inspiring speeches by Lydia Fenet (Auctioneer, Author, Podcast Host), K. Brent Hill (NTN Executive Director), Angelique Dawson (Chair), and Kristen Shapiro and John Schulman (Co-Presidents).
