The change in vertical alignment will require approximately 850-feet of roadway reconstruction along US Route 1, which includes reconstruction of the Hillside Road intersection with US Route 1.
Approximately 200-feet of Hillside Road will need to be reconstructed as well. A stone arch dike located approximately 300-feet downstream of the subject bridge will be removed as part of this project in order to improve the hydraulics of the proposed bridge. Continue Reading →
