Greenwich Road Runners (“GRR”) is a community-based running group started in 2015 by a small group of runners just looking for people to run with. The group has since blossomed into an over 75-member 501c3 organization affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America. GRR’s mission has always been to provide a fun community-based running organization for everyone from the first-time runner to the veteran marathoner.  GRR now host multiple group runs a week throughout the Greenwich community and a special monthly run sponsored by Athleta starting at their storefront on Greenwich Ave.

In 2022 GRR is also excited to launch several new programs/events, including a Summer Youth Track clinic through a partnership with Greenwich Parks & Recreation. The clinic is designed to introduce children to the basics of running with an emphasis on “FUN”.
