On January 11-12, the Junior League of Greenwich’s PositivelyMe! program held its first session of the year, with 32 enthusiastic third grade girls participating. In 2018 the Harbor Master shared stories of hazards to navigation and the demise of the Showboat. In October a sudden storm coincided with high tide and the town closed Greenwich Point. The Junior League of Greenwich is hosting a new member Open House for the fall 2018 class on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 7:00pm for prospective members to learn more about membership, meet current members and become part of the legacy. The open house will take place at Junior League headquarters, 231 East Putnam Ave, Greenwich.
