On Saturday the long awaited grand opening of Cardinal stadium at Greenwich High School was marked with a ribbon cutting under sunny skies. The day marked the Cardinals return to their stadium where they won their game against Stamford High School’s Black Knights, though the game was paused for a time due to thunder and lightning. Greenwich High School released the honor roll and high honor roll for Marking Period 1 this week. Full time students are eligible for Honors and High Honors status based upon their quarterly Grade Point Average. Students with GPA’s of 3.6-3.9 are named to the Honor Roll; students with GPA’s of 4.0 and higher are named to the High Honor Roll.
