Greenwich High School Teens Learn through Simulated Driving the Perils of Distracted Driving

Seatbelt on? Phone off? Call for a Cab? At Greenwich High School Health teacher Kathy Steiner brought in a group called the Safe a Life tour in partnership with the Dept of Transportation, to talk to teens about distracted driving and driving under the influence. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Later this month, Maggie Montague, who is partnering with teens from King School and Brunswick are hosting a go-kart race at Grand Prix in Mt. Convent of Sacred Heart 8th Grader Organizes Tennis Drive

Megan Farrell is organizing a drive to collect gently used tennis clothing, racquets, shoes and bags through April 15 at Grand Slam Tennis Club. Donations will go to Norwalk Grassroots Tennis which targets youngsters who are those living in and around the Norwalk Housing Authority, often from single parent households and often from environments that include drugs and violence.
