The Parenting Speaker Series Pasta, Pajamas, & Parenting, cosponsored by the First Congregational Church of Greenwich’s Church School and Preschool, will hold an educational parenting panel titled “How to Support Your Child’s Healthy Sexual Development and Gender Identity in Young Children” on Thursday, April 21 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Missy Sturtevant, LCSW, of MaeBright in Boston, MA will speak and lead a panel of parents and children who will share their personal experiences. Knowing that parents prefer to be the first source of information for their children about values and life choices, this offers a perfect opportunity for parents and caregivers to gather information and ways to communicate your values to children.

MaeBright was founded by Director and Owner, Missy Mae Sturtevant, LCSW. Missy holds over a decade of training and facilitation experience. She studied social work at Wheelock College and has a BA in Psychology with minors in Health and Wellness as well as Theater from Cedar Crest College. Missy has direct and macro level social work experience that includes policy research, youth leadership development, group home care, and inclusive comprehensive sexuality education.

All parents, educators, and caregivers of preschool and elementary age children are welcome.
