Hardhat Tour of Benedict Court, Six-Story Building to Rise with 40% Affordable Rentals

Developers Joe Tranfo and Phil Wharton estimate construction will be complete in the second half of 2028. There will be a mix of spacious 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments with 10 ft ceilings. he building will be professionally managed and feature many amenities, including a dining room, fitness center and game room.

Focus on French Cinema (FFC), presented by the Alliance Française of Greenwich, will conclude its 2026 series of newly released French- language films at The Bruce Museum on Sunday, June 21 from 2:00 t0 5:00 pm with a special screening of Cédric Klapisch’s luminous new film, Colours of Time (La venue de L’Avenir).

Greenwich School Board Tie Vote Means Motion to Extend Super’s Contract through 2029 Fails

An action item at the end of Thursday’s school board meeting on extending the Superintendent’s contract ended in a tie vote, which meant the motion to extend failed. The vote came at the end of a long meeting, on the heels of the board’s 5-3 vote in favor of a bell to bell cell phone ban at the Greenwich High School.
