Before he ran Post Stationery, otherwise known as “Lou’s,” and long before the lifelong Democrat became Greenwich’s Tax Collector, Lou Caravella was a young boy pacing up and down Greenwich Avenue with a bag full of newspapers. He sold the Greenwich News and Graphic for 3¢ a copy and was allowed to keep a penny for himself with each sale.
