Greenwich Police Investigate Two More Residential Burglaries

Greenwich Police are investigating two more residential burglaries.

In the 300 block of North Street (near Greenwich Animal Control) a resident came home on Saturday around 2:00am to find their house had been broken into.

The second burglary took place on South Baldwin Farms Road last Thursday. Around 8:50am a resident reported that their had been forced entry at the rear of the home.

There has been a recent rash of burglaries in which force is used to break in via back windows or back doors.

On the afternoon of Monday, Dec 16, burglars targeted three homes in Cos Cob. One on Butler Street. One Strickland. One on Osceola.

Three burglaries were reported in the beginning of December. A burglary on Round Hill Rd was reported on December 11. A burglary on Shore Rd was reported on December 9. A third burglary, this one on Doubling Rd, was also reported on December 9.

A home on Stillman Lane was burgled sometime between Dec 4 and 6.

Another incident took place on Cotswood Road, which is on North Street near town, some time between 5:30 am on Dec 7 and 10:30 on the 12th. Forced entry made through the back door.
