GHS Student Gov Leader Speaks out on Delayed Start Time at GHS

During Thursday’s Board of Education meeting, Greenwich High School student government leader Spencer Faragasso, who has been careful not to speak on behalf of all GHS students on the issue of school start times, finally spoke up.

Major Fake ID Seizure in Stamford is Opportunity for Parents to Have that Conversation

A conspiracy in Stamford meant money and pictures were collected and wired to China where fake driver’s licenses were manufactured. Stamford Police warn that the purpose of the falsified licenses is for underage youth to obtain alcohol and enter bars. Greenwich Schools Chief on Delayed GHS Start Time: “Very Aggressive” Timeline

Dr. McKersie outlined a very aggressive timeline for a possible delayed start time at GHS, but emphasized that ultimately the decision will be made by the Board of Education. “Anyone who says I’m dragging my heels on this is wrong,” the Superintendent said. “Most superintendents aren’t touching this.” Dr. McKersie said there will be multiple public forums beginning in October, and they’ll include Spanish translations. “We’re not talking about the science any more.
