Whitby School is happy to announce Jennifer Senior, author of All Joy and No Fun: The Paradox of Modern Parenthood, as the next addition to the Whitby School Speaker Series on Wednesday, September 30 from 7-9 pm at Greenwich Library.
On the New York Times Bestseller List for eight weeks, All Joy and No Fun asks the question: What are the effects of children on their parents?
Senior, an award-winning journalist and contributing editor for New York Magazine, will examine:
* How parenting has changed and why it’s more stressful than ever before
* Why you shouldn’t say “All I want is for my kid to be happy”
* What the biggest mistake parents make when trying to raise happy, confident children
This lecture is free and open to the public. Register here.
