P&Z Watch: Neighbors Question Lost Green Space for Apartments in Glenville, Removal of Porte Cochère at “The Mansion”

The Mill Owners Company LLC are seeking a final site plan and special permit to renovate “the mansion” on Glenville Street and build 15 rental apartments plus 23 parking spaces in the area residents refer to as “the green.” The application was opened at the Tuesday Planning & Zoning commission meeting. The property is in the Local Business Zone. It is in a Historic Overlay zone, and is also in a Registered Historic District. P&Z Watch: Apartment Building at former Computer Super Center Site Unanimously Approved

The Greenwich Planning & Zoning Commission approved a 7-unit residential apartment building at 103 Mason Street, where many will remember the Computer Super Center operated for many years. The applicant is 103 Mason Street LLC, which is registered to Brian Derosier, according to the CT Secretary of the State website. The structure will be 3-story  and a total of 15,369 sq ft. The breakdown of units is: two 2-bedroom units and five 3-bedroom units. One of the 2-bedroom units will be designated for moderate income under the town’s 6-110 regulation. Continue Reading →
