Eager 5th graders from New Lebanon School, Hamilton Ave, Glenville and Parkway had a blast at Camp Seton Scout Reservation on Wednesday, as they had a chance to meet some of their future Western Middle School classmates and enjoy a sunny day outdoors.
Some of the activities included a compass exercise, team building games, the whale watch and climbing walls.
Throughout the day random situations gave all the kids a chance to meet people and ensure familiar faces next fall at Western Middle School. Throughout the week, all rising 6th graders had a chance to visit Camp Seton to mix with the kids from the other feeder schools to their middle school.
