Greenwich Audubon Center is excited to offer our Summer Nature Day Camp in 2025! We are offering 7 weeks of fun-filled activities, outdoor experiences, and adventure, with our age-specific tracks of programming returning this summer! Each block is based on the unique elements of nature that we observe as the summer progresses. Each week, campers at Greenwich Audubon Center’s Summer Nature Day Camp explore nature in a fun, safe environment within the 285 acres of our nature sanctuary. Audubon camp fosters curiosity through outdoor discovery that helps campers develop an understanding of the natural world. These unique experiences and adventures can grow into a lifelong appreciation for our environment. Our camp days are filled with a variety of activities—including hiking, pond and stream exploration, crafts, nature-themed games, live animal interactions, and birding.
Our staff is selected for their experience and skills working with youth and for their interest in local ecology and natural history. All staff must pass background checks and are required to hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, making camp a safe place to learn about and experience nature.

Debate Camp empowers youth, ages 10 – 14, with the skills of parliamentary debate and public speaking. An engaging program that teaches life-long skills of advocacy, global awareness and diplomacy – all in a legendary, high-energy and fun-filled camp program.
Debate Camp provides an engaging, skills-enrichment summer opportunity for students in grades 5 through 10. In 2025 we are excited to once again bring Debate Camp to Greenwich.
We offer a well-loved program in public speaking, parliamentary debate, Model United Nations and general confidence-building for the aspiring young speaker! Debate Camp is open to all ability levels and programs are challenge-levelled — with instruction available for novice to competitive speakers. Campers work in small groups to develop their ideas, and speak in partnership as part of 2- and 4-person teams representing their side of the debate resolution (parliamentary- style).
Young speakers at all levels are generally amazed at their growth and development over 1 week. All instruction and supervision ratios are set at 1:8. Our daily schedule also includes organized games, impromptu speaking, drama and interactive activities to ensure camp retains a fun and balanced approach to learning. Model United Nations simulations and mini-tournaments complete the week. The feedback we encounter is often on the theme of genuine surprise at just how enjoyable an academic enrichment and skills development program can be. Day camp sessions at Greenwich Academy (5 day programs) and one-week sleepaway camps with supervised transport options from the Stamford Amtrack Station.

8:30 am – 3:30 pm
$5,000 full day (academics and enrichment activities) $4000 (academics only) $4,500 (CIT program, full-day)

SOAR offers differentiated academic instruction, small class sizes, and fun activities over a four week period beginning on July 7.
With a strong emphasis on reading and literacy skills, children who participate in the SOAR program receive individualized instruction that helps them avoid the dreaded summer slide.
Classes are taught by Eagle Hill’s dedicated and experienced faculty who are all experts in literacy instruction. Children with learning differences including dyslexia, dysgraphia, as well as ADHD learn in groups which are based on skill level rather than age. There is also an emphasis on math as well as study skills.
Afternoon activities include art, sports, trips to local Fairfield County attractions, water play, STEM activities, and more.
These activities help children build social skills including working with others and forming strong peer relationships.
Those rising into 7th grade and older are also eligible for a unique Counselor in Training (CIT) program which combines the academic program with leadership training.
