A Twinkle in the Eyes of Future Police Was Evident at Greenwich’s Annual Police Day

Saturday was the perfect day for the fourth annual Police Day in Greenwich. This year the Junior League of Greenwich collaborated. Captain Kordick worked the hot dog grill and Chief Heavy made families feel welcome. Greenwich 375 Kick-Off History Tour Kicks off May 16 at First Congo in OG

The kick-off of the Town of Greenwich’s 375th Neighborhood Tours will begin in Old Greenwich on May 16 at First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich. Pat Larrabee, the church’s historian, will present a slide lecture on historic homes and places of interest in Old Greenwich, followed by discussion and two optional tours: (1) the church’s stained glass windows that show the earliest history of Greenwich and (2) a short walk through the main cemetery next to the church to learn about historical people of note buried there. Members of the GHS theater department are finalizing their choreography and fitting their costumes in anticipation of next week’s run of Grease, which will be the last ever to be performed in the auditorium.
