Greenwich Police: 3 Local Seatbelt Checkpoints Activate Monday May 18 Click it or Ticket

On May 18, Greenwich Police will join Stamford Police, Connecticut State Police, Port Chester Police, Rye Brook Police, Westchester Police and NY State Police in mobilizing the Click It or Ticket (CIOT) “Border to Border” Operation. There will be three checkpoints locally:
• Mill St. at the New York border in both directions
• Route #1 at the New York border, also in both directions.

Greenwich Dance Studio Spring Performance, “Masterpiece,” Fills SUNY Purchase Concert Hall

Greenwich Dance Studio’s 11th annual spring performance, with the theme “Masterpiece” filled the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center concert hall on Saturday. Hundreds of girls danced across the stage in the packed concert hall, which seats over 1,300+ people. This year’s performance was extra special, as it marked Greenwich Dance Studio’s first year with its own dance studio complex. Complete Lineup Announced for 5th Annual Greenwich Town Party

The first band to perform on the main stage is Billy and the Showmen. Six local bands will round out the day’s music on the Town Stage, starting at 11:00am including the five-piece band, Stowaway, comprised primarily of Greenwich High School students. Others include Brunswick Music Improv Band, the Al DiMarco Swing Band, Kings Highway, Skunk Rockets and Lions on the Moon. And of course, Six-time Grammy-winners Earth, Wind & Fire will rock this year’s crowd from the main stage, in addition to Grammy winners Doobie Brothers and platinum-selling band O.A.R.
